Scott glanced at Cecily and asked, "Cecily, are you heading out?"

"Yeah. I'm going to meet an online friend today."

When he heard the mention of an online friend, he instantly thought of what Shannon just said. He felt that it was such a strange coincidence.

Why would Cecily be meeting an online friend right after Shannon had forbidden him from doing so?

It felt like a reminder and a warning.

"Hurry and go get changed. I'll wait for you."
