At the Jensen residence, Hector returned home slightly later than Scott. He had to give a statement at the police station and deal with the aftermath of the eight people fainting simultaneously in the abandoned school.

As soon as he entered, Scott ran up to him energetically. "How did it go, Hector?"

Hector gave him a cool glance. "I can't believe you all went there to simulate the shooting game so recklessly.

Scott responded with a thumbs-up. "You're the best, Hector! It's hot outside, isn't it? It feels warm in here, too. The air conditioning isn't cool enough."

"You see, Shannon gave it to me. It's the same as the ones she gave you and Uncle Adam!"

Linda, who had walked over from the living room, rolled her eyes at him discreetly. He had already put on a similar act in front of her when he first got home.

She had asked him, "Why are you back so soon? Shouldn't you stay at the hospital for a thorough checkup?"
