Lily pinched his shirt collar, irritation in her voice. “You pulled me up here!” 

Xavier furrowed his brows slightly. “What are you doing in a mall?” 

“I’m working. Lily’s ears flushed with embarassment. Her initation made it hard for her to thakelearly. 

She shifted awlowardly, the edge of her short skirt pressing uncomfortably apatust her thighs as if it could tear at any moment.

“Aren’t you supposed to be at Lapier’s headquarters?” he asked calmly.

“Glenview Villa,” she replied. “I didn’t do a good job designing it, so I took responsibility and got denoted to a general designer at a physical store.
