“Got it.” Timothy couldn’t help but get serious. 

“How’s Mrs. Fulton doing now?” Xavier was curious about Lily’s situation. 

His WhatsApp had been active all day, with a group created to add Shane and Tamara, trying to get a group of people to “cyberbully” him online.

Shane and Tamara messaged him, telling him to handle the situation independently and assuring him he could manage it, but their lengthy messages were buried under Edith’s 

He really wanted to pull Lily into this so she could see the mess she had caused! She had accused 

ed him of cheating and added so much trouble to his life! 

“Mrs. Fulton has moved into a one–bedroom apartment at Aqua Sonata, close to where she works. Today, she signed a large order worth over 300 thousand, eaming several tens of thousands in commission…” 

Timothy reported all the details. After he was finished, there was a long silence on the other end of the line. 

Xavier immediately realized he probably didn’t need all the details. He might not be happy about this. 

“Aooe–bedroom apartment?” he thought to himself. She had to be low on money if she lived in such a small place. 

Why would she live in such a tiny space instead of returning? Did she enjoy suffering? 

His expression darkened, his gaze becoming as deep and dark as the sky outside the window. 

“It can fit two people,” Timothy added, almost accidentally. “A double bed.” 

Xavier was speechless. “What a lousy place. Does she really think I’d go there to see her?” 

Timothy was confused. He paused, trying to figure out what went wrong 

After a long silence, he finally said, “If you went, there wouldn’t be anywhere for you to stay. Ms. Devereux is already there.” 

“Stop talking nonsense and get back to work,Xavier snapped, his expression completely black. He hung up the phone with a snap. 

Still out of it, Timothy didn’t even realize what he had said wrong. He mentioned a double bed, but that didn’t mean Xavier should go there to sleep! And even it Xavier wanted to, there was no room for him! 

Timothy trudged back to the company, looking defeated. 

At 7.00pm, Terence arrived at Aqua Sonata. This place was more secluded than Bayview Gardens, and he wasn’t too happy about Lily living here. 

“The security system here isn’t great.” 

“It’s fine. I go to work at regular hours and don’t stay out too late,” Lily said, scanning the room awkwardly. “It’s just a little small, so it might not be convenient for you to visit.” 

The small couch in the living room could barely accommodate two people. Back at Bayview Gardens, the three could comfortably sit down and chat.
