Early morning, lying on her bed, Queen Asalea felt the heaviness in her breathing and she felt like her tummy is shaking inside. Her baby kicked hard and seemed like he made a somersault inside.
“Hey, hey my baby, calm down. I know you are hungry; wait a moment honey, Mommy will go to the dining hall now,” she said patting on gently her bulging stomach.
“What is it, my love?” King Timodore has been awakened.
“Oh nothing my love; seemed like our baby is just hungry. I need to go to the dining hall to find some food,” she replied at him while trying to get down from their bed.
Immediately, King Timodore woke up and assisted Queen Asalea. “Come, let me join you at the dining area.”
They went to the dining area and when their Palace Chef saw them; he smiled outright and called on his kitchen assistant to serve the food to their King Timodore and Queen Asalea.
At that moment, Queen Asalea felt a throbbing pain again that almost stopped her from breathing. Her baby inside seems to be rolling up and down as she can feel racing feet inside.
“My love, are you okay?” King Timodore became worried as he saw her face frown as if in pain.
“Not quite my love, please give me a cup of blood, I need to drink it now,” she replied still in pain.
King Timodore reached for the cup of blood with urgency and helped Queen Asalea drink it.
Thereafter, Queen Asalea felt that her baby inside became pacified. She was able to breathe clearly. However, a minute after her baby inside kicked hard again as he wanted to come out. Queen Asalea frowned again while gently massaging her belly.
“Sorry my love, seems like you are having a hard time with your pregnancy.” King Timodore softly said while holding Queen Asalea’s hands.
Marshall saw those intruders in their all-black attires jumping over the Palace’s walls. Marshall’s eyes grew wide and he whistled thrice to warn their other guards. He then jumped off the treehouse and readied himself to fight.
Some other guards also jumped off from the treehouses and positioned themselves strategically while the others with guns stayed on the treehouses.
They waited for quite some time to see the intruders inside the palace however they waited for a couple of minutes in vain. They wondered where these intruders were.
Marshall directed some of the guards to run inside the throne’s hall and other areas of the palace as he suspected that the intruders might have been able to get inside unnoticed.
“Sir Marshall, there are no intruders inside the palace, we have searched everywhere already.
Marshall’s forehead furrowed. “I saw them clearly jumping against the wall to get inside our palace. So, where are they now?”
