King Timodore caressed the back of his wife. “We are ready in case werewolves will attack us. Don’t worry my wife, we will all be safe.” He assured her to ease her fears.
Queen Asalea shot her husband with a pacified look and nodded. “I will trust in you, my King.” Then she moved nearer to his body and sleep again.
King Timodore kissed her wife’s head tenderly before closing his eyes to claim that deepest slumber in his life.
The next morning, while walking in the palace’s corridor, Queen Asalea met two young ladies who seemed familiar with her. The two ladies also glanced at her and with wide eyes pointed their fingers at her.
“We know you!” simultaneously the two young vampires exclaimed.
“I don’t remember we met already.” Asalea pretended not to remember the two women.
“Oh come on, you were one of the salesladies of that hot boutique in town.” With a grin, the tall lady tried Asalea to remember the incident but the latter shook her head.
“ I can’t remember, sorry. If you will excuse me.” Asalea is about to step forward, but the tall girl grabbed her arm.
“Hey, don’t lie; it was you at the boutique.” The taller girl said again.
“You might be wrong. I’m sorry.”
“So, who are you and what are you doing here in the Palace? You are not a Glodeous right?” the smaller lady vampire with narrowed eyes asked.
“I am Lea. I am a Glodeous vampire now. So, is it okay for me to go now?” Queen Asalea asked with raised eyebrows already.
“How come you became a Glodeous now?” The tall girl with hands on her hips is trying to mock Queen Asalea.
“Because she is now the new Queen of Glodeous Kingdom.” A male voice from behind interrupted them.
“King Timodore.” The two lady vampires who were trying to bully Queen Asalea have been stunned when they saw King Timodore beside the woman who introduced herself as Lea. They vowed their heads to their King.
“You better vowed you head to Queen Lea now. I am wondering why you did not recognize her as my newly wedded wife.” King Timodore’s narrowed eyes are sternly looking at the two lady vampires.
“Apology King Timodore. We were not able to see clearly her face during your wedding ceremony. Apology Queen Lea.” The smaller lady vampire apologized with a vowed head. The taller one followed and did the same.
Queen Asalea remained silent beside King Timodore.
“Next time you did the same thing to my wife, you know what will happen to both of you. Take that as my warning.” Still, with narrowed eyes, King Timodore warned the two ladies.
“Yes, King Timodore.” Simultaneously, the two ladies stated with vowed heads. They hurriedly walked away after excusing themselves and after making a quick glance at Queen Asalea.
“Whatever it is, it will not happen again, now that you are my wife already.” The King stood from his chair and embraced Queen Asalea from her back.
“By the way Lea, this is Toremo, my nephew. I hope you remembered him.” King Timodore tried to lighten up his wife’s mood.
Toremo smiled at Queen Asalea. “Hello, Queen Lea.”
“Hi Toremo, yes I can vividly remember Toremo. How could I forget? He brought me to the venue where I got the biggest surprise in my life.” Queen Asalea is laughing now upon remembering what happened.
Toremo and King Timodore laughed out loud too.
After a while, King Timodore said, “Toremo, call Dreckos, we will lay our plans and traps for the Ecleteon werewolves all over the palace.”
As she heard the words of King Timodore, Asalea’s anger for the Ecleteon werewolves grew more; in her mind, she wanted to smash like potatoes their hearts especially their King Burkano, and behead him like chicken.
Without Asalea’s knowledge, her mind is open without any guard that King Timodore who is beside her, fully captured her thoughts.
“I can sense your anger my wife with the Ecleteon werewolves. I am truly confused now. Why?” King Timodore whispered to his wife’s right ear.
Queen Asalea became uncomfortable as she gazed at the inquisitive look of King Timodore. How could she tell him the truth now? It is not yet time for him to know. She is not yet ready.
