“Charlotte!” Diana was frightened and her face changed.
Compared with her, Charlotte was calm.
“I said it out for you.”
Diana's face became pale. She stared at Charlotte like a ghost.
Charlotte chuckled and pinched her cold cheek. “Why do you look so surprised?”
“You, you don't talk nonsense.” Diana took her hand and shook her head desperately, “I have nothing with Kennedy, and I don't like him! We are not rivals, we are good friends.”
“Good friends...” She bowed her head and her voice got lower and lower as she repeated the words, “We are really good friends, but I never thought that we would fall in love with the same man and that you would lie to me.”
“I did not!” Diana walked to her front to take her hand and explained anxiously, “Charlotte, did someone tell you something? It's Yanis, isn’t it? Is she making mischief again? You have to believe me. I really have nothing to do with Kennedy...”
When looking up, Charlotte saw her pink earrings on her ears shining in the sun, as if in sarcasm with Diana.
“Diana, you know?” Charlotte took back her hand, looked at her calmly, “I saw your pink earrings.”
Hearing that, Diana stopped all the action.
She opened her lips and seemed to want to say something to Charlotte, but for a long time she could not say a word.
Charlotte smiled with ease and said calmly, “Feelings are things that you can't help yourself. I don't blame you, but I won't forgive you.”
With that, Charlotte got up, looked at the door instead of Diana.
“We can't be good friends anymore.”
After that, Charlotte left. Diana stood in situ for a long time, then she wanted to catch up to explain, but when she reached the door, Charlotte had gone.
For a moment, Diana was nervous and did not know what to do. She did not expect to be found out so soon. She wanted to hide it from her for a period of time. As long as she did not tell her, Charlotte would not ask based on her character.
However, Charlotte went straight to point.
Diana had to take out the mobile phone to call Charlotte, but her mobile phone was turned off. Diana was worried, so she had to go look for Charlotte.
For most of the day she failed to find Charlotte, so she could only go back. On the way, she received a phone call from Nathan - Kennedy wanted to see her.
Hearing that, she put her bad mood and Charlotte behind and went there excitedly after she got the address.
When she arrived at the destination, Kennedy coldly looked at her, but Diana still walked to him with a sweet smile, “Kennedy, you want to see me?”
When Nathan saw Diana, he unconsciously retreated to the side and tried to be far from her.
Kennedy shook off her hand and said in a cold voice, “No, even if you take it off, it has no use.”
Hearing that, Diana froze and looked at Kennedy in daze, “What do you mean?”
Nathan said, “The meaning is that you defiled it. You are Miss Nelson, how can you behave like this? How can you take other’s thing without permission? Are you fake Miss Nelson?”
It was ridicule, but Diana took it seriously. Her eyes become fierce and she stared at Nathan, “What are you talking about?”
Nathan was frightened by her vicious eyes, “Why do you look like that?”
Kennedy took a glance at her and Diana became pitiful, “Kennedy, sorry...... I didn't mean to wear that pair of earrings. I saw them when I got up. They are beautiful and I thought it was a gift from you, so I put them on. I didn't mean to have it. If you don't like that, I won't touch your things again.”
With that, Diana quickly took off the earrings and gave them back to Kennedy.
“Here you are, and I promise you, I'll never touch your thing if you don't want me to touch it.”
That pair of pink earrings returned to Kennedy, but he was annoyed and sneered, “You wore it, do you think I still want it?”
Diana’s face became pale, so did her lips. She bit her lower lip and said in a trembling voice, “You bought that pair of earrings to Charlotte, right? I am sorry, if I had known you were going to give it to her, I wouldn't have touched it!”
With that, Diana raised her hand and slapped on her face, “It is my fault. I should not show up to you. I will find Charlotte now and say sorry to her!”
