After Samantha and the other women were led away by the maids, Rosemary's face quickly lit up with a smile. She had almost immediately spotted Leonardo in the crowd.

After all, Leonardo stood out no matter where he went. He had the kind of presence where people spotted him right away.

With a bright smile, Rosemary said, "Leo, I didn't expect you to come to Ryan's party celebrating his discharge. You should have told us earlier; then I would have asked Yvette to come home sooner to keep you company."

As she spoke, she pulled out her phone and started dialing. "Yvette can be too headstrong at times. I mean, why does a young woman like her insist on running a talent agency? Isn't that exhausting? If you ask me, she should just settle down and focus on her family. I'll tell her to come home right away."

"There's no need," Leonardo firmly refused. "I just happened to pass by, and I won't be staying long."

"Oh, that won't do. If Yvette finds out you came and I didn't tell her, she'll be upset," Rosemary said. "She likes you, and it's obvious to both our families."

It was clear Rosemary was hinting at something to Leonardo. For years, Yvette had shown she liked Leonardo, and both families tried to push them together. But Leonardo had always kept his distance from women and never gave her a chance, much to everyone's frustration.

But lately, Rosemary had heard that Leonardo might finally be opening up. She didn't care what brought on the change—as long as Leonardo was willing to give women a chance, she was sure Yvette would be good enough to win him over.
