"Thank you." Samantha left the lobby after giving her thanks. She hailed a cab and headed straight to the hospital.

Simon rushed downstairs as fast as he could, only to find that Samantha was nowhere in sight in the Evergreen Tower lobby.

He was sure he had told her to stay put and wait.
