She didn't know what Liam was thinking about. All she knew was that this man was a fierce and ambitious man with mysteries that she couldn't understand thoroughly.

"What, what do you mean by that?" Abigail asked but felt kind of guilty for some reason.

"What do I mean? You don't know what I mean, then how dare you to beg me!" Liam sneered.

Abigail was suddenly speechless, and didn't know how to reply to him.

Liam was a man who had the last words, and she could do nothing about it.

She couldn't accept the truth that Tina would go to jail for such a little thing, and she felt that she had no choice in the matter.

That was all Abigail could think of.

Abigail hesitated for a while and said, "Okay, what do you want from me?"

Liam couldn't regard these words as praise though he gave them some thought.

"Actually, nothing serious. I just have a case at hand that's a little tricky. Since Miss Swift is so capable, I'm sure you can handle it." Liam said.

After hearing his words, Abigail still couldn't believe it. "That's it?"

"Okay, it's a deal," Abigail said.

"Fair!" Liam said softly and then continued, "Miss Swift, welcome back to work." After that, Liam hung up without saying anything.

Liam's deep eyes narrowed slightly, and a determined smile rose from the corner of his mouth as he looked at the phone.

This result was within his expectations...
