Midnight, in the guest room.
Lisa stood by the bed, her voice kept very low.
"Mark, I can't take it anymore, I quit! Give me a hundred thousand dollars, transfer it to my personal account now!"
Mark frowned. "Are you crazy? Why would I give you so much money?"
Lisa laughed coldly. "The doctor says my rectal nerve damage is irreversible."
She suddenly pulled down her pants, exposing her wound.
Under the light, her wound was festering and oozing pus.
The sight was horrifying.
"If it keeps getting worse, I might need a colostomy bag! I'm asking for a hundred thousand—is that too much?"
Her voice grew louder, her emotions nearly out of control.
"Or would you rather your wife find out about us?"
Mark stared at Lisa intently, his voice seething:
"You... you dare threaten me?"
Lisa didn't back down.
"This isn't a threat, it's a transaction. You give me money, I walk away, everyone's happy. Otherwise..."
She didn't finish, but her meaning couldn't be clearer.
The room fell into dead silence.
Mark's fist clenched and unclenched.
Finally, he gave in.
"Fine, I can give you the money. But a hundred thousand isn't small change. All my money is with Caroline. I need time to move it around."
He tried to stall, his tone somewhat pleading.
"You leave first, I'll definitely transfer the money to you in a few days."
Lisa laughed coldly, clearly not believing his lies.
She pulled out a pre-prepared IOU from her bag and tossed it at Mark:
"Words are worthless. Sign this IOU first."
Mark looked down at the IOU, his expression growing darker:
"What? One percent interest per day for late payment? This isn't even high-interest lending anymore, it's robbery!"
"Then I'll go tell your wife about our affair right now..."
"I'll sign!"
Mark's voice was practically squeezed from his throat.
Watching his hand trembling as he signed his name to the IOU.
I smirked.
Want money?
Dream on!
I turned and went back to the bedroom, quickly dividing the money in my account into several parts.
