Caroline's POV

It had been five years since Johnny grew up. Andrius ' company had expanded even more, but to avoid being too reliant on the money he had acquired, I also sought a career that was a good fit for me. I left Johnny with the helpers because Andrius and I decided to hire. Luckily, we found the best helpers, and they were kind, so I would have no problems. My first days at work were difficult because I wasn't used to being apart from Johnny or maybe to seeing Andrius seldom. I decided to be a model and made sure that everything would be worth it. However, I had no idea modeling would consume so much of my time, particularly if I had a hectic schedule. I hadn't spoken to Andrius for almost a week due to our schedules always didn't meet. I was back in the studio and was preparing myself because we had a runaway show. I wanted to return home and hug the two boys that were important in my life.

"Stunning, let's go!" My make-up artist stood up, so I opened my eyes. I checked my face in the mirror and thought that there was nothing changed at all. It was still the same and it looked like nothing different. They preferred me to just light makeup so that it didn't obscure the beauty of my face.

I stood up and was about to leave when the makeup artist paused, and suddenly put something around my neck. When I looked at the design of the necklace the pendant had the letter of my name. My makeup artist just winked at me and dragged me to line up with my fellow models. I just really wanted to go home and be with Johnny. I missed them so much. Just a little and I could save. When I had enough money to buy what Adams and Randall wanted, I would stop working.

I adjusted the straightness of my body when the model in front of me left. I caressed the necklace the make-up artist had given me. I had extra nervousness while I was waiting for my turn. My knees were trembling and felt the anxiety when the first time I walked with the audience. I didn't know why I was nervous even though I'd been doing it for several years and I was already got used to it.

When the model turned back, I took a deep breath lifted my head and made my face look fierce. I began to walk the way we had been taught. I just looked straight ahead and when I turned back to change my clothes, my eyes met Andrius. Although I was surprised, I didn't show it. I walked back and suddenly felt excited to ramp on stage. And who was the woman he was with earlier? I couldn't see it properly because I only looked back for a second.

I just hope Adams would wait for me.

The last thing we would wear was a nightgown so we already had partners who would hold our waists. I was no longer paying attention to Andrius because this was what needed more attention. But even when I didn't look at him, I could see in my peripherals that he was staring deeply at me.

"Thank you all for your cooperation!" Our manager applauded but I didn't let her finish speaking because even though I was having difficulty with the heel I was wearing, I ran to the stage. When I was about to go to the parking lot I slowed down because I saw him in the lobby talking to someone. The woman next to him earlier, they were both laughing so my walk quickened up.
