Chapter 372 Give The Guerra Family An Heir

Lysanne began to muster all her strength to knock on the door.

While she knocked on the door, she shouted loudly, “Dr. Thome? Dr. Thorne, are you in there?”

Such a commotion finally managed to dampen Josiah’s mood. He no longer continued whispering sweet nothings into her car. Slightly lifting his head, he frowned in the direction of the cabin door, showing clear signs of impatience.

By this point, Lysander was amused.

Josiah shifted his gaze down toward her. “How could you still smile?”

“Why not? Josiah, you’ve really outdone yourself, being treated like a stud, huh?”

This remark clearly struck sore spot. The arm wrapped around her waist tightened slightly, leaving Lysander breathless in an instant. Startled, she let out gasp.

Josiah gritted his teeth and sneered, “Are you enjoying making fun of me?”

Fortunately, Josiah knew when to stop. After a brief moment of holding her tightly, he let her go. Lysander playfully nudged him and asked“Why don’t you take a dip in the sea to cool off?”

“Would you take responsibility if I drown?”

“You have a fiancée, don’t you? Why should it be my responsibility?”

“You’re right. If I were to die, I must give the Guerra family an heir first.”

“There’s one ready–made outside. Why don’t you go?”

“When have I ever used knock–offs?” He leaned closer to her. “If I were to use anything, it would definitely be the real deal…”

Seeing the flame flicker in his eyes once more and his body gradually pressing down, Lysander instinctively placed her arm against his chest. “Josiah, you’re so heavy!”

Josiah paused and harshly swiped his tongue across her lips. His voice carried a warning tone when he said, “Don’t provoke me now.”

“Then you should stay away from me for now.”

His breathing grew increasingly labored, but thankfully, the persistent knocking and shouting from outside acted like a wake–up call, finally tearing him back to his senses.

He gently released his grip on her shoulders, looking away, no longer meeting her gaze. He took several deep breaths, attempting to quell the tumultuous flame within him.

Lysanne looked at her with disdain, shooting her a harsh glare. “What if the thief, cornered and desperate, ended up hurting someone inside?” she asked, her voice laced with annoyance at the girl’s lack of foresight.
