"Don't catch them all, or there won't be any left to see. Be a good boy and listen to me," Casper coaxed with endless patience.

He had always been like this for the past three years. He wasn’t sure where this sudden surge of patience came from. Perhaps it was from the guilt he felt towards Eliza.

Casper parked Robin’s wheelchair and then sat down on a rock.

He glanced at his watch. It was nine o'clock. Taking out his phone, he sent Valerie a message. Great, he had been blocked.

"Dillon, can you check who Valerie is with right now?"

The response was immediate, "Of course, Mr. Casper."

Soon, Dillon called back, "Ms. Valerie is... she's currently dining with Dr. Martin... at the Rona Italian Restaurant."

Here he was with Robin, braving the cold wind, waiting for her, and she had gone on a date with Aaron.

He stood up, brushed off his pants, and started pushing Robin back home.

Robin was not satisfied yet, and threw a little tantrum. "I want to see more. See the fireflies."

"Tomorrow, I'll bring you again, okay?"

"You can't lie to me."

"I won’t lie to you. Not like your sister."

After dropping Robin off, Casper had Dillon pick him up to go to the Rona Italian Restaurant. The restaurant's ambiance was elegantly infused with a touch of medieval charm. The patrons were mostly high society elites and dignitaries.

Casper walked over, pulled up a chair, and sat between the two, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, what a romantic atmosphere. How about we share a table?"

Casper looked around, no sign of kids.

"Dr. Martin, where's your bundle of joy, your son? Didn't he come? A meal for two, huh? How romantic."

Casper’s face was full of mockery as he clapped his hands twice.

"Then call them. Do it now." He took out his phone and handed it to her. "I want to hear how you explain this to the police."

Eliza scoffed. He really thought she wouldn't cqll the police?

Raising her hand, she dialed 911. The call was quickly connected.

Casper snatched the phone from her hand and hung up. "You really called?"

"What else did you expect me to do?"

Casper laughed, holding the back of her head, his lips inching closer. "Ms. Valerie, you are quite heartless and ungrateful."

"I've heard you aren’t exactly a paragon of sentimentality yourself?"

She didn’t flinch from his advance, her eyes filled with disdain and mockery.
