Eliza clung to Brock, her eyes glued to the van as it sped away. She knew she needed to remember the faces of those criminals. The windows were heavily tinted, but just as the vehicle turned the corner, sunlight pierced through, revealing a face.

Was that... Nova?

Nova was supposed to be dead. Dillon had assured her of that, and Dillon never lied. Was her mind playing tricks on her?

"Is Brock okay?" Aaron asked, coming over and gently ruffling Brock’s hair. "Those people have some nerve."

"Aaron, we need to head back home."

"Sure."

On the drive home, Eliza held Brock close, her heart still pounding from the ordeal. She couldn’t shake the uneasy feeling.

Aaron glanced over at her. "Could it be one of Casper’s enemies?"

"No," she replied firmly. Nobody knew Brock was Casper's child. There wouldn’t be anyone out to kidnap him because of Casper. But who would want to take her child? And was that really Nova in the car?

"Aaron, thanks for today."

"Don't mention it. Ever since Brock fell into the sea last time, I've felt awful. I just hope you can forgive me."

Eliza gave a faint smile. "It's all in the past."

Aaron pulled up at Welton Estate. As Eliza got out with Brock, Casper emerged from the house. His eyes narrowed at the sight of Aaron.

Eliza said nothing and walked inside with Brock.

"May jumped to her death while pregnant because she was disappointed in you. What did you do? You know better than anyone."

May had indeed visited the Welton family many times before her death. However, she was looking for Caroline, not him. Casper remembered clearly.

The last time she left the Welton family estate, she smiled at him and said, "Casper, I should apologize to you."

Later, Casper replayed those words over and over, finally understanding her last words before she jumped. "Casper, I love you."

Aaron had made such a great deal out of that.

"Aaron, if you really don’t know why May died, go talk to Caroline. She’ll tell you."

"Caroline is your sister. You’re two sides of the same coin. Do you think I’d believe her? You killed May, and now you’re trying to escape your guilt. Well, I’m telling you, it's too late." Aaron's eyes were bloodshot, his face trembling with rage. "Your fate will be the same as mine. Don’t think you can escape justice."
