"Go get me a few decent action figures."

"Yes, sir."

The kindergarten was letting out.

David stood nervously at the entrance, his eyes constantly scanning for the children as they poured out of the school.

Casper, holding a bunch of action figures, strolled up to him with a smirk. "Are you sure the little guy will go with you when he comes out?"

"Casper?" David's eyebrows shot up in surprise.

"Don't be so shocked," Casper said, his eyes tracking a small figure making its way out of the kindergarten. "I want the woman, and I want the kid too."

David's brows furrowed. "She's already turned you down. What's the point? Do we really need to get married for you to give up?"

"Marriage?" Casper chuckled, a mocking glint in his eyes. "Do you honestly believe you can handle the responsibilities and duties of a husband? Can you really make her happy?"

"Why wouldn't I be able to?"

"Mr. David, do you need me to remind you about your health issues?"

A man who can't even fulfill his marital duties—how can he talk about responsibility, duty, and happiness?

Maybe women aren't always obsessed with intimacy. But that doesn't mean they don't have needs.

David knew his health condition and still wanted to tie Eliza down. To Casper, this was not something a real man would do.

David's face turned dark. "My health is none of Mr. Casper's business."

Casper just shrugged.

Brock came running out.

"Casper, you can't take Brock away." David, seeing this, hurried forward to stop him, his voice tinged with anxiety. "Val will be worried if she finds out Brock is missing."

"Let her worry, and let her come find me," Casper said, ignoring David as he gently pushed him aside and got into his car with Brock.

"Casper, this isn't right." David followed closely, standing in front of the car, anxiously banging on the window. "What's the difference between this and kidnapping? Do you want Val to hate you?"

The car window slowly rolled down, revealing Casper's calm face.

"Isn't Mr. David being a bit dramatic? Can't you see Brock likes me? Even if we're just friends, taking a kid out to play for a while shouldn't lead to hatred, right?"

"Val asked me to pick up the kid. At least let me take him back and get her consent before you take him out to play, alright?"

David looked at the little guy engrossed in his toy. "Brock, your mom will worry if you just go off with someone else. Come back home with Mr. David, okay?"

"No." The little guy didn't even look up, still absorbed in his toy.
