Eliza felt pretty down. She sat up slowly, staring blankly out the window, but the night wasn't offering any answers. Chelsea had a point. If he'd never let anyone in, how could they have ended up in such a private space?

"Hey, Chelsea, I need a drink," Eliza said, swinging her legs off the bed. She started sifting through her wardrobe, her fingers brushing over the clothes until she landed on a dress that was simple yet had a bit of flair. "I heard there's a new club on the east side. Let's go check it out."

Chelsea was lost in her phone for a moment, thinking. There were plenty of places to grab a drink; no need to dive into the chaos of a nightclub.

"Why not just hit up a cozy bar instead?"

"Can you dance in those tiny bars?" Eliza tossed the dress onto the bed. "And where's the fun in flirting with cute guys at a quiet bar?"

"Eliza, are you playing with fire?" Chelsea teased.

"If Casper's office can have condoms lying around, why can't I dance with some guys?" Eliza sent Chelsea a voice message with a grin. "If you won't join me, I'm going solo."

"Alright, alright, I'm coming. See you soon."

Eliza closed her phone, a satisfied smile curling her lips. After slipping into her dress, she took the time to perfect her makeup. Her long earrings danced gently with each movement, adding to her allure. She was a vision of understated glamour with each step she took.

As she opened her bedroom door, she nearly bumped into Casper. He looked at her, surprised by her stylish ensemble, his brows furrowing, "Where are you off to at this hour?"

"None of your business."

"What karma?" Casper raised a hand as if to swat him, but Caleb ducked inside, laughing, "Forget it, man."

Inside the club, the air was thick with the scent of alcohol and nicotine. In the dimly lit corners, people played with their drinks, lost in a haze of luxury and indulgence. The heavy beat of the music pulsed like a heartbeat, moving with the crowd on the dance floor.

With all the flashing lights, Casper struggled to spot Eliza. With so many people and the dim lighting, they found a spot where they could keep an eye on things.

"Bro, middle of the night and instead of doing... well, couple stuff, we're here at a club? What, got rejected for not being up to par?" Caleb teased, looking at Casper, whose face had returned to its usual calm. "You look like you should've managed just fine. Don't tell me you're actually not up to it?"

"Why do you talk so much nonsense?" Casper shot Caleb a disdainful look. "Can't a couple have a spat? She's just... mad at me."
