The cool water cascaded through his thick hair, following the contours of his skin all the way to his feet. He grabbed a towel, wrapped it around his waist, and picked up his phone to call Dillon.

"Did you catch the news?" he asked.

Having seen the headlines yesterday, Dillon had rushed to Falconridge and was just getting off the plane. "Yeah, I saw it, Mr. Casper."

"Think this might be the end of me?" He let out a dry laugh, mocking himself before sighing deeply. "I really hate how indecisive I've been this time."

"Come on, it's not the first time you've been in a bind." Dillon realized his words might have been a bit harsh and awkwardly touched his nose, trying to sound more serious. "I heard Fiona is the wife of the guy you saved. She shouldn't be doing this to you."

Casper ran a hand through his wet hair. "Yeah, she shouldn't be. But here we are."

She had even drugged him, knocking him out cold. It was almost laughable.

"I asked for advice, not a roast."

"Mr. Casper, I'd never mock you," Dillon replied quickly. He had sped back to Falconridge just to help Casper sort out this mess. "Just hang tight at home, I'll be there soon."

After hanging up, Dillon hailed a cab and headed straight to the Welton Estate.

Meanwhile, up on the thirteenth floor of Welton International, the woman there wasn't letting Casper's scandalous news disrupt her work. Chelsea, enraged by the news, called Casper and chewed him out. Eliza, on the other hand, just shrugged it off with a wry smile.

Was she mad? Sure, but she knew the news was just a ploy to stir up drama. If she took it seriously, she'd be playing right into their hands. She suddenly felt sorry for Fiona, having to resort to such tactics to get what she wanted from Casper.

Now, with just the two of them in the room, Fiona stood before Eliza like a proud swan. "I suppose you know why I'm here?"

Fiona wore a V-neck white sweater that made her skin look even more delicate. Her hair was tied up, revealing her pale neck and a few dark red marks that looked suspiciously like love bites. Eliza figured Fiona had shown them off on purpose.

"So, you came to show me how wild your night was?" Eliza chuckled, clearly unimpressed. "Fiona, aren’t you a bit too old for these childish games?"

"The affairs between a man and a woman are none of your business," Fiona said, stepping closer to Eliza, who was seated in her executive chair. "What I want to tell you is, Casper will definitely be with me. You should hurry up with the divorce."

"Definitely be with you?" Eliza couldn't help but shake her head, a hint of mockery in her voice. "What has he promised you to make you so delusional?"
