"How about we hit up a street food stall, Mr. Casper?" she teased, a playful glint in her eyes. He chuckled, dipping his head to gently nuzzle her nose with his, "Being with you, I'd even eat poison if I had to."

"I wouldn't dream of poisoning you; you've got quite a nice exterior." Her eyes sparkled with laughter.

He was thrilled by her words, "Well, that makes me pretty happy."

Casper shrugged off his jacket and draped it over Eliza's shoulders, pulling her closer, "I think there's a street food stall up ahead. Why don't we check it out?"

"Mr. Casper, since when do you know about street food stalls? Did you take a girl there before?" she teased, turning her face slightly.

Casper grinned, flashing his perfect teeth, "There's only ever been one girl for me, and her name is Eliza. I don't think we've ever hit up a street food stall together, though. But today, she's treating me."

"Smooth talker," she said, wrapping her arms around his waist happily. "I'm treating, but you're footing the bill."

"Deal. You treat, I pay." He agreed without hesitation.

The late-night street food stall buzzed like a lively cafeteria. The owner's shouts, the chatter of patrons, and the boisterous men boasting after a few drinks filled the air.

They found a relatively clean spot to sit. Eliza pulled out a wet wipe and gave the table and chairs a quick clean.

"You sit down, I'll handle the ordering," she said.

She took a few steps before noticing Casper still standing. She guessed he might be put off by the lack of cleanliness. This down-to-earth spot was a bit of a stretch for someone like him, known for his cleanliness.

Just as she was about to head back, she saw Casper fold his coat neatly and place it on a nearby chair before sitting down himself. Eliza paused, rethinking her decision to leave.

She ordered an assortment of skewers, a plate of stir-fried clams, a mixed platter of boiled goodies, a cold dish with century eggs, and two bowls of stir-fried noodles. After handing the menu to the owner, she returned to wait for the food.

Casper didn't want to kill her vibe, even though he knew she couldn't hold her liquor well. "One bottle each should do."

"Sounds good." Eliza waved at the owner, "Hey, can we get two bottles of beer? The 'Adventurer's Brew,' please."

"Coming right up."

Once the beer was at their table, Eliza grabbed the opener and popped open a bottle. She poured Casper a glass before filling one for herself.

"You know, when I was little, I was pampered just like you, the darling daughter of the Henderson family. My parents were super strict, always telling me what I couldn't eat. Watching my classmates enjoy street food made me so envious..."

"They worked hard to mold me into a cultured lady, skilled in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting, with impeccable manners. But deep down, I was quite the rebel."

"They'd forbid street food, so I'd pay classmates to grab it for me. They wanted me to learn piano, so I pretended I couldn't get the hang of it. They'd drag me to fancy events, and I'd fake a stomachache..."
