Evadne didn’t show up at the fashion event today to brag about her wealth and status, but to take care of a couple of important things.

First, she had to face the media and seriously respond to the rumors about her cutting off the Abernathy Group, eliminating unnecessary speculation and

chatter.

Second, she publicly gave a gift to Ada, which was actually a chance to keep an eye on Glynnis and make sure she had control over the situation. She couldn’t afford to give Glynnis, who had bad intentions, an opportunity.

Just then, Ada and a middle–aged man in a tailored brown suit, with an extraordinary demeanor, walked over.

“Ms. Evadne, let me introduce you,” Ada hurriedly introduced, “This is Mr. Alvin, the global president of Aurora Adornments, and a dear friend of mine. Alvin, this is Ms. Evadne, the general manager of K World Hotel. She’s quite a talented lady!”
