Having been made to feel slighted by Byron’s inappropriate advances, Nydia didn’t dare to confide in her father or her elder brother. With a flushed face holding back tears, she hurriedly left the bustling banquet hall, 

As she moved through the crowd, she was bumped by a waiter. 

Suddenly, she felt a sting on her arm, like the prick of a bee, but the pain quickly faded.

Nydia didn’t think much of the incident and quickly walked away. 

The waiter watched her leaving, with a smirk on his face. 

The evening breeze gently ruffled Nydia’s soft hair, as she stood alone on a deserted balcony, gazing at the chilling moonlight and quietly wiping away her tears. 

If only Jason were here, he wouldn’t have let her suffer the slightest grievance or injustice. 

But she had made up her mind to endearingly let go; from now on, Jason would no longer be a part of her life. 

So, should she make one last call to him, to say everything that needed to be said, to bring closure to it all?

Jason had never stopped trying to reach her. His every word was filled with deep emotion.

Ashbourne family’s b*dyguards scattered, combing through the castle in a sweeping search. 

Cassius was in no mood for pleasantries and promptly set out to search.
