After that day, Axel didn’t go back home, using the excuse of being busy with work. 

It just reminded me to take ‘pregnancy–protecting medicine‘ every day. 

He didn’t know that the day after he left, I had already undergone an abortion surgery. 

The menstrual period was mild and not very painful. 

When I saw that tiny little bundle of flesh, I couldn’t help it. My heart ached so much that I couldn’t catch my breath. I held the little clothes I had prepared early and cried all night, saying sorry countless times. 

With swollen eyes and a hoarse voice, I opened my phone countless times, wanting to interrogate Axel, why did he have to be so cruel to me! 

But all I saw were countless intimate and affectionate photos posted by Elliana on social media. 

Famous tourist attractions, amusement parks, shared an ice cream.

When the video was sent over, the workers came to my house, and I asked them to take down the large wedding photo in the living room.

Having done all this, I looked around the empty house and felt no ripples in my heart, just 1 heart had been hollowed out and would never beat for Axel again. 

A week later, Axel finally returned.

Until they reached the banquet hall, Elliana warmly greeted the guests like a hostess. 

She wore a fitted dress in shades of purple, accentuating her graceful curves. 

Seeing us coming over, they greeted us with a smile and said, “Mr. Sweeney, there are many important business guests here. Please go and greet them, and I will take care of your wife.” 

Axel nodded and tapped my forehead gently, taking out his phone to tell me, “Honey, I’ll go say hello and come to accompany you right away.” 

As soon as the person left, Elliana immediately changed her expression. “You could hear it, right? That night at the villa, listening to my husband’s escapades all night long.” 

I am indeed not as shameless as Elliana.
