"Would you go out with me for a friend's birthday party?" Jordan suddenly said taking Olivia by surprise

"Um Jordan.... I don't go to parties" she shyly replied

"Oh, you don't have to worry, it's just dinner at his house. You two have already met"

Olivia was confused by Jordan's last statement. She wondered what friend of his she must have met, then it hit her

"Justin?" She asked to be sure. Jordan only nodded in reply

"Well I don't think I'm the best option for that. You can take your girlfriend with you, you know?" Olivia said

Jordan wasn't expecting such a reply from Olivia, he just kept staring intently at her making Olivia very uncomfortable. She was scared that she might have said something wrong to bring back the old Jordan

"I didn't..."

"You know I don't date" Jordan blurted out, not giving Olivia room to finish her sentence.

Olivia was surprised and confused by what Jordan said, she didn't understand what he meant by he didn't date and how did he expect her to know that he isn't with anyone when they only started talking recently. All along, she thought he wasn't single, it seems she was wrong about that, no wonder he had the time to come check on her.

'what were you thinking Olivia? That he'd leave his girlfriend just to spend time with you because Joseph had asked him to? No, he only did it because he wasn't committed to anyone' she thought to herself. Olivia's head was still going in circles when she suddenly heard Jordan call out her name

"OLIVIA!" He called. Olivia was startled at first before gaining her composure

"I'm sorry" she apologized

"Are you okay?" He asked looking at her like she wasn't okay

"Yeah, I'm fine"

"Are you sure?.... You weren't even listening to me at all. You just zoned out" he said

"Sorry, you were saying?" She asked trying to get him to talk. He sighed before replying

Olivia on seeing Jordan became nervous, she started to wonder if what she was wearing was okay for the dinner they were attending. Olivia couldn't help but stare at Jordan, he was as perfect as Joseph, wearing a navy blue button down long sleeved shirt with black pants and men's shoes, if that's what they call it. She couldn't help the blush rising her cheeks from just thinking about her boyfriend Joseph.

They got inside his car and then Jordan began their ride to the dinner party. On their way there, Olivia couldn't help but wonder why Jordan never dated anyone because he was really handsome and perfect for most girls, well, it could be because he was a player back then in school, maybe he hasn't quit the act. Jordan arrived at a big nice house that had a wide garden area that one could hold events, Olivia had no idea Justin was this rich. They both got out of the car and walked to the door, Jordan rang the doorbell twice and Justin was the one who opened it

"Hey, I thought you wouldn't show up" he said to Jordan while giving him a bro hug

"Olivia?!" Justin said with a surprised look

"Hi" she shyly greeted

Justin looked from Olivia to Jordan and back to Olivia having a surprised and suspicious look. Olivia didn't like the look Justin was giving her because she wasn't doing anything wrong by accompanying Jordan to a dinner party. Justin gestured them to come in, then he introduced them to some of his colleagues and some other friends, both from high school and college. Olivia didn't feel comfortable anymore after seeing some old school mates, she suddenly regretted accepting to come along with Jordan who was busy greeting some friends. All of them were surprised to see Jordan with Olivia

"This is my wife Rebecca" Justin said introducing them to a very beautiful blonde lady. She didn't look familiar to Olivia, maybe the couple met while in college. 'Too bad for all those cheerleaders who had spread their legs for Justin back in high school' Olivia thought to herself

"Can I steal Jordan for a while?" Justin asked
