"She was supposed to be Miss June right? But now I remember that you wanted to talk to my brother. What did you two talk about? " Billy asked but he ignored his question.

Instead he asked, " Did you tell Jim about the photo shoot? "

"No. I just wanted him to see the pictures once he got his copy. I called you to see the photo shoot because I know you already have a very bad impression of her. So when I heard that Not Eye Candy will feature her, I phoned you."

"Good! Keep it that way! Don't mention anything to Jim!" he said sounding relieved.

"Will you just tell me what happened? Where are Stacey Ledesma's photos? Why does the magazine have a different cover and centerfold?" Billy sounds really very curious.

Nick turned on the shower to test the water's temperature. "I bought all of them. And I also paid your brother a huge amount in exchange for the memory card and cd where the photos are stored. And of course that includes the interview. " he said sounding cool like he just bought a box of doughnuts.

"WHAT??!!" Why the hell did you do that? Mate! What will you do with them?" Billy asked in disbelief. He can't even imagine how much money Nick paid his brother. It is not easy getting a last -minute model .

Nick didn't speak for a while so Billy spoke again.

"Mate, I think you did that to protect Heather's family. Didn't you? Are you finally going to commit to a woman? " He asked Nick with a grin.

Nick chuckled but refused to comment about that. It's better that his friend believe such rubbish than him finding out the truth.

"Don't tell a soul about all these. " he said before hanging up.

He just got out of the bathroom and his lower torso is only covered with white briefs when he heard his phone ringing again. He smiled when he saw it's Stacey.

"Honey?"

"Derick, I saw the bracelet. It's too much! I am giving it back to you next time we meet." she said.

His forehead creased. "We already talked about that honey so you are keeping the bracelet! Let's drop the subject!" he coldly said. He brushed his damp hair with his hand in frustration. His dominant attitude is surfacing because of annoyance. He is not used to giving presents to women. Stacey is the first but unfortunately, she is making a big deal out of it.

"But Derick! It is really too much!" she complained.

"I had that made for you. It's yours. Don't mind how much it is. I can afford to give you expensive things!" he said and he heard her sigh.

"Are you ready for bed honey?" he asked her to change the subject. "What do you have on?" he asked huskily and his d*ck reacted because he's imagining her in a sexy nightwear.

Stacey rolled her eyes. Nick's mood shifted from bad to flirtatious. She chewed the inside of her bottom lip before looking at her night wear.

"An oversized white shirt and ...." .

Nick stopped what he was doing. He was about to put on his boxer shorts. "And what honey?" he asked.

He heard her sighed.

"..a white lacy thong..." she said almost like a whisper.

Nick's imagination went overtime. "Honey..how I wish that I am with you right now." he groaned.

Stacey hates to admit it but she feels a little frisky. Images of the things Derick does to her when they are together entered her mind.

This man is really a tease! she told herself.

"Don't say that! You are such a pervert Derick!" she said sounding irritated but he just chuckled.

Nick will miss her for two days. He feels that Monday is so far away. To console himself, he will just call her several times during the weekend or he could see her he misses her too damn much. He smiled when he thought of that. Anything is possible ...

He already planned something so she doesn't have to sing at the bar tomorrow until Sunday.

"I'm sleepy." Stacey said before yawning.

"Okay honey..dream of me. If you were with me, I would kiss every inch of your lovely body." he said throatily.

"Derick!"

Stacey touched her face because she is positive that she blushed. She could almost hear him chuckling.

"Hello Tyler. Thank you. Come on, let's sit down. " she offered.

They sat next to each other. She hid a smile. She wished that she can dictate her heart to love him. Tyler is good-looking too and has a stable job. She is better off with him than with Derick. She doesn't even really know if Derick is serious about her. She shook off her thoughts because she is being unfair to Tyler. She shouldn't be thinking of another man while they are together.

"So where are we going? It's still early?" she asked him with a small smile.

"It's up to you. Where do you want to go?" he asked her with a grin.

"How cheesy!" Heather said sarcastically as she came to the living room.

Stacey just shook her head from left to right when Tyler's eyes widened. Heather is still in her sexy lingerie. After a few moments, he seemed to have recovered from his shock. He turned his eyes to her again .

Heather just sat down on the chair opposite them. It looks like she doesn't even care that she is in such a revealing sleep wear. She didn't even bother to put a robe on. She even crossed her legs seductively.

"So where are the lovers going? It's too early you know. " she asked in a honeyed tone.

Stacey felt that Tyler feels uncomfortable so she stood up. "None of your business !" she told her half-sister.

"Let's go.." she sweetly said to Tyler.

"Anywhere is fine with me Heather. I just want to spend time with your sister."

Heather snorted and suddenly stood up too.

"Well have fun kids! Don't do anything that you shouldn't be doing without any protection." She said sarcastically which made her frown but she just ignored her remark.

They were about to go to the front door when they heard the shrill voice of Amy again so they all turned to the front door which is ajar.

Amy flung the door and said sounding even giddier than when she announced Tyler's arrival, " Miss Pretty! Guess who is looking for you now?!"

She was about to ask her who but she gaped when she saw Nick Alcantara appeared behind Amy. He has a grim expression.

Nick felt heat slowly came up his neck to his ears when he saw Stacey holding hands with another man. They seem to be about to go out.
