"W-What?" Stacey asked.

Nick pulled her even closer to him. His lips only an inch from hers.

"You heard me honey..." he said almost like a whisper.

She frowned and then with all her force, she pushed him with her palms on his chest.

"LET ME GO!!" she shrieked.

At first he didn't want to move and Stacey couldn't even budge him but seeing the fire in her eyes, Nick knows that she is very angry so he decided to just release her.

She dashed to the opposite side of the bed. She balled her hands on her sides as Nick crossed his arms on his chest and just looked at her. If she is not really pissed, she would probably have been taken by his sexy stance. The way he has his arms on his broad chest shows his biceps and emphasizes his six pack more. He is only in his white briefs. He looks way better than some of the underwear male models she had seen.

But what he said is unacceptable.

"How dare you say such a thing! You will never be better than Derick ! He genuinely cares for me and you on the other hand, just lust after me. He can offer me a long-time commitment! Unlike you! You only want a one-night stand! Your motto according to your girlfriend is one woman, one fuck!" she said angrily.

Disbelief registered on his face and he uncrossed his arms.

"MY WHAT???!!" he asked.

"YOUR GIRLFRIEND!!" she yelled back.

She has the sudden desire to throw things like the lampshade or something hard that's inside his room at him. She feels violent right at this moment.

Damn you Nick! YOU BRING OUT THE WORST IN ME!! She angrily thought.

She is really finding it very hard to resist him. She told him that she loves Derick but the truth of the matter is, she is torn between them. They are almost equal. It's a neck and neck but she will never tell her boss the truth. She is well aware though that choosing Derick is better than being Nick Alcantara's woman. Being the latter's girlfriend is like a suicide. She is not the type of woman who will do cat fights with other females just to protect what's hers

"And who the fuck is my supposed to be girlfriend?! As far as I know, I only want one female to be my woman but unfortunately, she has an issue about me. " he added, with a sexy grin which she finds annoying.

She flushed. She knows that he is referring to her.

"You can't remember who your girlfriend is because you just have too many women." she said with a bitter light laugh.

Nick might be grinning but he wonders who she talked with then his brows knitted. It suddenly dawned on him that it was definitely Tanya. They probably met hours ago and that might be the reason why Stacey didn't go back to the office again.

"I am going home Mr.Alcantara!" she said before turning around to leave.

She was close to the door when she felt his hand grabbed her right forearm.

"We are not done yet. "Nick said sounding irritated.

"We are!" she retorted while trying to free her arm but of course he didn't let release her.

" I asked you what if I am better than that Derick?" his eyes are half slits.

Stacey narrowed her eyes too. " Even if you were better than Derick I won't ever say yes to you! I won't even let you near me! I'd rather be a spinster than become your girlfriend!" she rasped.
