"What?!" exclaimed Stacey and Nick just sighed heavily.

"Let's go honey. We can talk later." he said as Billy waved at them.

"NO! I won't live with you Nick!"

"We are not going to discuss this here honey." he said with finality.He pulled her by holding her hand.

They sat on the back while Billy is on the driver's seat. She then thought that he was probably right. She can't have Billy hear what she wanted to tell him so she just sat in silence. Several times Nick attempted to take her hand but she got it back. She finally gave in when he didn't stop trying.

The two men talked about trivial things. Billy tried to have a small talk with her too but Nick said he better focus on the road and stop looking at her through the rear view mirror. Billy just chuckled while she threw Nick a glare which the latter just ignored. She shook her head and sighed before turning her head to the view outside the window. She is thinking about what might happen after tonight.

Living with him is triggering her migraine. It is already difficult for her to fight her feelings for him and being in a condo with him will make things even worse . A lot of things happened in a span of a few weeks and there is a good chance that she can survive this situation .

She felt jittery when they dropped Billy off at his unit.

Now it's just the two of them in the car.The song Rush,Rush by Paula Abdul is playing on the radio.

She couldn't explain her feelings. She feels happy, nervous and excited. She dreamed of being in this scenario. Having someone sitting next to you and you having a strong feeling that he will be with you through thick and thin. Someone who will bear with you though you keep on fighting your own feelings for him. What Nick said to her mother and sister showed that Nick can really take good care of a woman. A boyfriend material minus his PTEF's (Pink Taco's Extreme Fantasy) image of course . She just wished that if they become a couple he will be a one- woman man.

"Do you want to dine out honey?" he suddenly asked.

She checked the time. It's past 9 PM.

" I am not really hungry. Are you?" she asked him.

He seemed to be thinking carefully while his eyes are on the road.

"I'd rather eat something at home.Can you cook honey?" he asked with a smile while he threw her a glance.

She chewed her bottom lip. "I can whip up something if you want. Aren't you a fussy eater?"

He shook his head . " Nope. I can't wait to taste your cooking."

She tore her eyes from him to look at the windshield to hide her smile. As usual, he looks so damn sexy with that grin of his.

They sound like a couple...she likes that thought. Maybe just for tonight, she will enjoy the feeling and moment.

The condo they went to is not the same one she saw before. She is curious but she doesn't want to ask him how many units he owns. This one is bigger and it also has a very beautiful view outside the window. It's on a higher floor. It has a moderate size kitchen.

"Let's bring your things in the bedroom honey." he said as he carried her bags.

She followed him but she frowned when she saw that the room they entered looks like the master's bedroom. The walls are dark blue. There is a big bed at the center and a small door on the right side. There is even a small living room and probably a 75 inches tv on the wall. The blinds covering the windows and the sliding door leading to the balcony are a lighter shade of blue.

"Honey, you can use this drawer right here and this closet."Nick pointed to the closets.

"And this is the bathroom.." he opened the small door and turned on the light, "..in case you want to freshen up first."

She frowned. "Nick.."

"This one is the balcony." he then opened the blinds to show her the outside. "Later we can have coffee while we view the stars."

"Go freshen up honey.I am starving." He said while he takes off his shirt.

Stacey swallowed when she saw his to-die for body once again.

He took a white shirt and boxer shorts inside one of the closets .

"Use the bathroom here. I will be using the one outside." He added

"Wait! Nick! This is your room right? I can't sleep here with you!"

He looked at her with a poker face.

"There are only two rooms here. The other one I use as an office. I will be worried if you will live alone in one of my units alone so I want you to live here with me. Don't worry. I will sleep on the couch in the living room if that will make you feel better." he said in a neutral tone before going out.

Stacey just sighed. She just have to be thankful that he is concerned about her though she can't hide the fact that sooner or later, the people in his office will talk about them once they find out about their living arrangement. Then shrugging her shoulders, she decided to take a quick shower too . She just has to stop worrying about that now.
