Nick's eyes narrowed. He just nodded at his secretary. He is curious about what Heather has to say. He was about to pick up the receiver when his cellphone started ringing. He saw Stacey's number on the screen. Like a flash, he took his mobile phone.

"Dammit honey! Where the f*ck are you? Who are you with?!"

He didn't want to yell at her but he is really pissed. He has been worried for hours and jealous as hell. Images of her with the f*cking asshole with tattoo flashed in his head again.

"I-I'm w-with Eve." came Stacey's sweet but nervous voice.

She almost dropped her phone when she heard Nick's very angry voice. She had to call him before Heather does.

I have been worried sick about you! Why is your phone off? F*cking hell!!" He is pacing the room while loosening his tie.

"S-Sorry.. I was annoyed because you hung up on me."

Nick angrily combed his hair with his hand. " I didn't hang up on you ! I said I will call you back, didn't I?" he asked in a clipped tone.

"I heard Tanya. She was at your office!"

He sighed. If he weren't furious he would probably have smiled knowing that she is jealous of Tanya.

"That's not enough reason for you to turn off your phone! We'll talk about Tanya later! Where are you?!"

"A-At the coffee shop. I am about to leave.. .."

"Just tell me the exact location!!"

"No need. I can.."

"Dammit!! Why can't you say where you are exactly at? Is there anyone else with you beside Eve?!"

If Eve is with her, there is a good chance that her cousin is also there. That thought made him grit his teeth.

She heard his shallow breathing and her heart is thumping. Nick thinks that Blake is with them.

"I will just ask you one more time honey, where exactly are you?"

She had no choice but to tell him. No use fueling his anger. She will explain everything to him later.

"Don't you dare move! I'll be there in 15 minutes." he said in a flat tone.

She hurriedly went back to their table. "Eve we have to go. "

"You haven't finished your dessert."said Blake. He looks relaxed while he drinks his beer .

"Blake is right. What's the hurry? Let me finish my ice cream."

She looked at her watch. Nick could be here in less than 15 minutes. "Okay please hurry up. "

"You look edgy. What's the matter Miss Hotness?" Blake asked while his brows are knitted.

The cousins are now looking at her. She sighed. She might as well tell the truth. She's running out of time. "Nick will be here soon. He is picking me up from the coffee shop next to this restaurant."

Eve's mouth formed an O while Blake's bluish-gray eyes look blank.

"Why didn't you tell him that we are here. Why lie to him?" he asked tonelessly and Eve pretended to be busy with her dessert.

"He knows it's just me and Eve. We have to go. Sorry and thanks for the lunch." she told Blake before pulling Eve's hand so they can go.

" He's jealous of me isn't he?" he asked all of a sudden.

Eve gave her a knowing look. She nipped her bottom lip before looking at Blake again. He has a bleak expression.

"Just be sure that you are making the right decision Miss Hotness. Appearances can be deceiving, always remember that." he said, his face is impassive.

They have been at the cafe for 3 minutes when she saw Nick's car. She couldn't take his eyes off him when he got out and started walking to the cafe. His handsome face is stony. His strides are wide. Eve motioned for a waiter to get their order.

Nick spotted them immediately His eyes never left hers as he comes to their table. She is mesmerized . He exudes charm, confidence and sex appeal and she knows that all the women inside are checking him out but what's amazing is, he doesn't even care because he got used to it. She wanted to stand and go to him and show all the female that he belongs to her, but of course, she didn't.

"Girlfriend what do you want to order?" Eve asked so she had to take her eyes from Nick.

She looked at the waiter. She was about to give her order when she heard Nick greeted Eve.

"Black coffee." She told the waiter with a smile.

He sat next to her. She felt electricity ran through her body as his shoulder touched hers.

"Honey." The way he called her sounded so sexy.

Eve is just staring at them with her mouth slightly open. Maybe she can sense the spark between them.

Who wouldn't look at them? They look perfect together. And the way Nick looks at her will make any woman die of envy.

She just acknowledged his presence with a nod. She doesn't want Eve and especially him to notice how nervous and at the same time excited she is to be near him. She pretended to be busy looking at the menu.

Without looking at him, she asked."What do you want?"

"You know what I want honey." he said in his bedroom voice.

Her nipples reacted and she blushed because she knows what he meant but she was talking about coffee for Pete's sake!

Eve cleared her throat before saying. "Nick, try their cappuccino. It's good."

"Okay, I'll have that." he said before getting the menu from her and overturned it. "It's upside down honey." he whispered in her right ear. Amusement is evident in his voice.
