"Does it matter what I think?" Jessica chuckled, "If you cared what I thought, you wouldn't have gone abroad without me."

Carl's expression changed slightly as he heard her words. "It's been so many years... I didn't expect that you're still caring about it."

Jessica swallowed, cleared her throat, and said, "Carl, if you hadn't left back then, we would have been together long ago."
