I made sure that Sammy had her arms wrapped tightly around my waist. About 20 minutes into the ride I felt Sammy lean her head on my shoulder. I hoped she was not falling asleep. I was watching the cars fly by and then I lifted my head and smiled. Diamond looked over and saw Sammy smiling and her eyes widened. Then Beast heard it. Laughter. Sammy was laughing. We rode for another hour before pulling into Bob Evens. As we parked the bikes and turned them off I stood up and lifted Sammy from the bike. I looked up at him with the biggest smile he ever saw.
