Keith's brow was furrowed, his nerves on edge.

He bit down on his back teeth, about to swing the car door open and check things out, when the other vehicle suddenly shot off.

As the red light turned green, Keith's car started moving forward.

Rolling down the window, he leaned out to look. The SUV had already zoomed past the intersection, speeding off into the distance, leaving them far behind.

He wanted to tell the driver to speed up, but he was worried about scaring his precious one.
