Chapter 472 Move to my head is not appropriate
When Zane came down from changing, Albi was no longer in the living room.
"Albi said to wait for you in the car." Yanis whispered when she saw Zane coming down from upstairs.
"Where's Anika?"
"Where's the bathroom."
Zane glanced in the direction of the bathroom, and then looked at Yanis and said softly, "Don't wait for me tonight, sleepy, go to bed early, I may come back a little later."
Yanis responded, "Okay, you need to drink less."
Zane leaned forward and gave Yanis a quick kiss on the lips before standing up straight, "I'm leaving."
"Let's go, Albi should be waiting."
Zane answered, before turning around and heading for the door.
After changing his shoes in the foyer, Zane took one more look into the living room before opening the door and walking out.
Albi was leaning against the car, and when she saw Zane come out, she stood up straight and turned to open the back seat door, "Mr. Lawrence."
"Finnley Ellis called you?" Zane looked over at Albi and asked in passing as he got into the car.
Albi shook her head, "Not yet, it's the same time as before, I've booked the Langham for now."
Zane said, "Let's go."
Albi nodded and raised her hand to close the car door.
After the car started, Zane picked up his cell phone and dialed the number directly.
After the phone was dialed, the call was answered after two rings.
A low male voice came, "Mr. Lawrence."
Zane answered, "Mr. Ellis hasn't forgotten about the evening, has he?"
Finnley laughed lightly after hearing Zane's words, "Yes, how could I forget Mr. Lawrence's invitation, right here in Langham?"
Zane answered, "Yes."
Finnley said, "Okay, I'm just finishing dinner, I'll change and go over there, if Mr. Lawrence gets there first, wait for me a little bit."
Zane answered.
Hanging up the phone, Zane cupped his phone, looked up at Albi who was driving and asked, "Did you get that thing done for the Griffiths family?"
Albi turned his head to look at Zane and said in a low voice, "I've asked, the Griffiths family has missed the tax before, so I guess it's not easy to handle, we have to wait for them to pay the missed tax first for seven working days before we can handle it again."
After hearing Albi's words, Zane asked, "How much is owed?"
"Six million."
Zane didn't say anything after hearing that.
Albi thought Zane was going to ask something else, but after waiting for a long time Zane didn't say anything, so Albi didn't say anything else.
The car arrived at the parking lot behind the Waters Hotel in the night.
Albi parked the car and got out first to open the door for Zane.
Zane lifted his feet and got out of the car, "What floor is the box on?"
"A1 on the fifth floor."
Albi responded as he raised his hand to close the door, "I'll wait for you in the car?"
"Let's go up together."
Finnley wasn't the only one who had a date tonight, Vincent was too.
Albi nodded and followed Zane into the Langham.
After entering, the staff took Zane and Albi straight up to the fifth floor.
Zane and Albi just arrived a short while ago, Finnley arrived first.
Once he pushed open the door and saw that the only people sitting inside were Zane and Albi, Finnley took a step, "Eh, just us, huh?"
Zane raised his eyes to Finnley, "Mr. Ellis."
Finnley nodded, which lifted his feet into the door, "I thought the venue would be more lively tonight."
Zane looked to Finnley, "Mr. Ellis wants to be lively, that's not easy?"
Finnley came forward and shook hands with Zane before sitting down next to him, "I don't care, won't Mr. Lawrence's family have a problem with that?"
Zane smiled, "She doesn't like to be jealous."
Finnley heard Zane's words when he laughed lightly, "Then call two people to warm up the scene, the three of us old men so big-eyed stare is not so much ah."
Zane nodded his head and turned his face to Albi.
Albi understood, got up and left the box.
After Albi left, Zane and Finnley were the only two people left in the box.
Finnley took a cigarette and handed one to Zane, and took a bite out of his own mouth, "Mr. Lawrence didn't just ask me to come here to have a good time, did he?"
Zane nodded his head, took the light from the table, lit it and handed it to Finnley first.
Finnley reached out to block the light and lit it, "Thanks."
Zane lit his own cigarette before speaking, "I've long heard that the Ellis family is now Mr. Ellis in charge?"
Finnley smiled and laughed, "There are only four of us, so there's no such thing as being in charge."
Finnley said Finnley paused for a few seconds and looked sideways at Zane, "What's wrong? What disobedient thing in the Ellis family has upset Mr. Lawrence? Tell me about it, I'll go back and give them a wake-up call."
The Ellis family does real estate in Manches City, in this line of business is more or less with the Lawrence Group side a little bit involved.
Although not directly related, but there is still a little bit of meaning in the roundabout.
So Finnley said this is not to say that he is afraid of Zane, but in this Manches City, no one would want to go up against Zane.
Zane's skills and abilities in the business are right there, and they have to admit that Zane has an uncommon mind in the business.
They had to admit that Zane had a great mind in the business world. They were all businessmen, and no one was stupid enough to have trouble with money and their own interests.
After listening to Finnley's words, Zane didn't open his mouth at first, but after taking a drag on his cigarette, he said, "I don't know who Miss Ellis is standing up for, but it's not appropriate to move my wife's head."
Zane said this concisely and without any emotion, as if casually mentioned in general.
But even so still let Finnley have a moment of slight bewilderment.
The cigarette in his hand forgot to smoke, and only after a few seconds did he come back to his senses, "Julia bullied Mrs. Lawrence?"
Zane raised his hand and dusted off his cigarette, "The Ellis family funded the painting competition at the Gallery this year, right?"
Finnley nodded, "My parents love these things, so they've been holding these contests over at the gallery for years, and they've uncovered a lot of talented painters."
At this point, Finnley looked at Zane, "Mrs. Lawrence is also participating?"
Zane hmmm, "but when the manuscript was turned in, the painting disappeared."
At this point, Finnley had almost understood.
He puffed hard on his cigarette, "If Julia did this, I will definitely give Mr. Lawrence an explanation."
Zane carelessly inhaled a cigarette, "My wife has opted out, so the competition is not to participate."
Finnley, when he heard Zane's words, couldn't get Zane's attitude for a while.
Zane will finish the cigarette in his hand, raised his hand to put out the butt in the ashtray, "I asked Mr. Ellis tonight is to say to Mr. Ellis, this kind of thing in my here, only one of them is not the other, and there is no possibility of the third."
Finnley nodded, "I understand, I will give Mrs. Lawrence an account of this matter."
