Chapter 1360 Two choices

Jayden’s heart raced, and his lowered eyes betrayed his guilt.

He couldn’t even meet James’ gaze because there were no

secrets in front of him.

But Jayden, stubborn as ever, tried to negotiate with James with words, as if it would help him regain his dignity.

“Paul is your cousin, so naturally you’ll side with him.”

“Of course.”

James didn’t shy away at all, directly admitting it, which

caught Jayden off guard.

Just as he was about to reprimand him with “birds of a feather,” James impatiently interrupted him.

“Jayden, two choices: either apologize to Paul in person, or leave this hospital.”

It was only because of Eva’s reputation that James came up

with this solution.

Likewise, if it weren’t for Eva being Amelia’s good friend,

James probably wouldn’t even bother saying a word to Jayden.

Apologizing to Paul was impossible, leaving the hospital…

Jayden glanced at Stella, who signaled him to choose the former, triggering a subconscious resistance in Jayden.

“Eva has already apologized to Paul on my behalf.”

Upon hearing this, James looked down even more on Jayden.

“You dare to let a woman clean up the mess you made? The mistakes you made yourself?”

James must have been extremely angry, hence the increasingly impolite words.

“Mr. Evans asked me to apologize, but aren’t you worried I might say something unpleasant to him again?”

Besides impatience, a hint of icy severity flashed in James’

eyes.

“Jayden, I won’t allow the same person to bully my brother in

the same way twice.”

In other words, if Jayden dare to do it again, what awaits him won’t be as simple as leaving the hospital.

Jayden was working on an important report with Henry, and he couldn’t leave until they obtained results.

Once they got those results, his position wouldn’t be just that of an ordinary doctor anymore…

After carefully weighing his options, Jayden chose the former without hesitation for his own benefit.

“Fine, I’ll go find him later and apologize.”
