Chapter 65 Why Did He Tie Her Up Again 

She was sure Kevin would not let her go after he got the 

contract. 

But that was based on the premise that he had drunk enough of the sedative–laced wine. 

It was all because of the man in the bathroom! 

If he hadn’t pretended to be Kevin and stirred up trouble first, she wouldn’t have been so nervous that her hands trembled, which let Kevin see through her disguise. 

What should she do in this situation? 

Was she going to be violated by Kevin? 

As she was sweating profusely from anxiety, Kevin’s phone vibrated and interrupted his fumbling. 

“Mr. Harris, your phone is ringing. Answer it first.” 

Amelia took the opportunity to push Kevin away and get up from him. 

Kevin thought that she would not be able to escape tonight, so he did not argue with her. 

He took out his phone and looked at it. When he saw the number on it, he quickly answered the phone. 

Amelia heard only the moment he answered the phone. His tone suddenly became extremely respectful, with a hint of nodding and bowing. 

She guessed the caller was a big shot that even Kevin could not afford to offend. She wondered who it was. 

However, she couldn’t be bothered to care about who was calling. What she was thinking about now was how to solve the tricky problem. 

Kevin picked up the phone and glanced at the contract while answering it. “Is there a problem? Why didn’t I find it?” 

Amelia couldn’t hear the other party’s voice. She could only hear Kevin continue, “Now?” 

After a pause, he added, “Okay, I’ll be right there.”
