Emelyn’s plan failed, and Amelia tried to appeal to her emotions. 

“Ms. Davies, you know that James only cares about me.” 

“Keeping my friend hostage won’t do you any good. Why make innocent people suffer?” 

Emelyn stared at Amelia’s clear and innocent eyes for a while 

before waving her hand. “Fine, as long as you’re here.” 

She made a phone call and nodded at Amelia after hanging
