“Mhm,” Billy responded with a hint of coldness in his eyes, “Barrett is legit so far, but I won’t jump to conclusions yet. Falcon has more tests for him. We’ll see how everything plays out before making a final decision.”

Francesco looked at his boss with admiration, saying, “You’re such an intelligent man, Mr. Billy.”

Billy enjoyed hearing that. He raised his chin proudly and said, “Stick with me and learn everything I’m teaching you.”

Francesco nodded. “Of course!”

Since Falcon had failed to probe “Bonnie” again, he reined it briefly. That said, he continued to chat and laugh with her. He also did not show her too much of his emotions. He realized he did not need to rush and calmed down.

‘I still have the last test for Barrett, and it’s a big one. I’ll find out everything I need to know after that.’

An hour later, Falcon wobbled as he stood up, pretending to be drunk. “I’m—burp! I’m wasted and need to sleep.”
