Benjamin nodded and said, "Okay."

Then, he passed the mashed potatoes to Harper and asked, "Do you want any?" But just as he finished speaking, Paul said dissatisfiedly, "You're such a terrible husband. Harper doesn't like mashed potatoes. She likes the steamed lobster. Help her remove the meat."

Harper frowned slightly and said quickly, "Paul, I can have some mashed potatoes. And I can remove the lobster meat myself."

"Harper, don't worry. You married Benjamin, but he didn't treat you well enough. This is unfair to you. Now, think of him as making it up for you. You can enjoy it."

Harper fell silent and looked at Benjamin subconsciously.

He stared at her with a hint of tease and asked, "What do you want to eat?"

She pressed her lips and said, "Anything is fine."

Then, Benjamin placed several dishes before Harper and put some lobster meat on her plate.

Harper opened her eyes wide and was stunned. Paul and Lily were speechless. Scott lowered his head and smiled. Benjamin said, "Try and tell me what you like."

Actually, Harper was already full, but Benjamin had served them, and everyone was staring at her. If she said she couldn't finish them, Benjamin would probably be scolded. She wasn't worried about Benjamin, but she just didn't want to embarrass Paul.

After dinner, Scott took out the coffee he treasured and made it for Paul. Then, he also got a cup of coffee for Harper. She took it, but she didn't drink it because she was pregnant and had to drink less coffee.

She heard every word he said to Paul clearly. He proposed to have a child just because it was time to do it. So, it was not much different from what Lauren said. Although she knew that Lauren would exaggerate, the results were the same.

Hearing Harper's words, Benjamin narrowed his eyes slightly, but there was no obvious emotional change on his face. "Give me a reason," he said and stared at her, his voice low and hoarse.
