Chapter 125 Feverish Again

"I'm going to stay here for a few days until my fever is gone," Benjamin said seriously.

"Benjamin, so you're not going to ask for my permission. You just made the decision regardless of my agreement. Right?"

How domineering he was!

Harper felt helpless and tired.

Benjamin said, "Harper, my fever persists. Are you insisting that I return and live alone? What if I become unconscious again in the middle of the night without being discovered? Or do you believe a potentially life-threatening infection is inconsequential? If so, I'll depart immediately. I understand I've disrupted your peace, so I'd better go back to the Martin Manor. Even learning the causes, Grandpa won't blame you."

"That's enough," Harper shouted angrily to interrupt him. She really couldn't bear it anymore.

She thought, "It's just a fever. It must not involve infection and endanger life.​

Besides, how could he be alone in Pineview Villa?

Benjamin frowned, a little displeased. "Are you leaving me here alone?"

Harper turned on the lights and looked around. The living room was empty. Her heart skipped a beat. Had it not been for Benjamin's shoes at the entrance, she might have assumed that he had departed.​

Harper put down the food and pushed open the bedroom door. The bulging figure on the bed immediately caught her eye. She turned on the wall lamp in the bedroom, walked to the bed, and whispered, "Benjamin? Get up and have dinner."

Benjamin frowned tightly, and his handsome face looked very pale. Harper reached out to touch him, only to find him feverish again.
