Chapter 213 Lunchtime

"Is Annie the woman who dumped you?" Benjamin went straight to the point, his eyes narrowed and cold.

Larry paused. "You know it?"

"Where is she? With you?"

"Yes."

Benjamin said coolly, "You best not treat her badly."

"Did Harper tell you?"

"It has nothing to do with Harper. This is my advice to you. If Annie is missing for a long time, do you think her family will remain quiet?"

Benjamin reminded, his deep eyes staring at Larry, thinking, "If I had known earlier about Annie's relationship with Larry, would I have told Larry earlier?"

Harper had prepared a sumptuous lunch, which looked so good that it made one's mouth water.

Harper unfastened her apron and was about to go upstairs to call Benjamin to eat.

At this moment, the doorbell rang.

The butler opened the door, and Lauren walked in wearing a light green dress.

She saw Harper and was surprised. After looking around and making sure that Benjamin wasn't there, she asked calmly, "What are you doing here?"

"You should be asking yourself that question." Harper glanced coldly at her.

Lauren added, "You're getting divorced from Benjamin. Do you really think you still have the right to stay here? Harper, do you regret?"

After finishing her statement, she looked at Harper and asked, "Harper, do you think I'm right?"

"Since when do you care about my opinion?" Harper stared blankly at Lauren.

Knowing that Benjamin was present, Lauren quickly explained, "Harper, I just want to explain it to you. You don't have to be so harsh on me!"

"Should I be gentle and tender with you?"

Harper narrowed her eyes and glanced at her.

Lauren hesitated, blushing in embarrassment. She asked lowly, "Harper, are you angry with me because of what happened on Benjamin's birthday?"

Harper looked at her one-woman show and smiled helplessly, saying, "Lauren, you should change careers and become an actress."

She no longer looked at Lauren and just looked at Benjamin, asking, "Benjamin, do you want to eat now, or do you want to talk to her alone first before eating?"
