Curtis glanced at the time on his watch and said, "I'm afraid it's not possible right now. Mr. Martin has an important client."

"It's okay. I can wait."

"Good."

Harper followed Curtis out of the conference room and waited in the secretary's lounge. They walked towards the secretary's office. The door to the president's office opened at this time. A tall and sexy woman walked out from inside, followed by Benjamin. The two had smiles on their faces and seemed to be chatting happily.

That woman was Elsa Cronin. She looked at Benjamin with admiration in her eyes and asked, "Will you accompany me for a drink tonight, just the two of us? Deal?"

Elsa spoke as she lightly placed her hand on his arm.

Benjamin didn't avoid her. He just squinted and smiled at her, "I'll have someone take you back to the hotel. As for drinking, we can do it anytime."

Elsa snorted without saying anything, and then Benjamin said, "I'll take you to the elevator."

They glanced at each other, smiled, and then walked towards the elevator.

When passing by Harper, Elsa also gave a meaningful smile.

Harper followed Curtis to the rest area and sat down only after they were out of her sight. But her expression visibly became serious, with her eyebrows furrowed. She felt an indescribable sense of discomfort.

She couldn't help but wonder, "Who is that woman? They look familiar. Have they known each other for a long time?"

Harper bit her lip tightly, constantly guessing.

"Are you really that kind-hearted?" Benjamin said mercilessly, "If you don't want to cooperate, you can just tell me directly. If you dare to cause trouble for me, even if we grew up together, I won't let you off the hook."

"Benjamin, your mother was right. You really are cold-blooded now."

"Have you finished speaking? You can go now," Benjamin said with a blank expression, but his impatience was already clear in his words.

Elsa smiled and calmly said, "Benjamin, if you treat your wife the way you treat me, I estimate you will be single soon."

After Elsa finished speaking, the elevator door opened. She walked into the elevator before glancing at Benjamin. One second before the elevator doors closed, she didn't forget to wave goodbye.

Benjamin squinted his eyes and watched as the elevator doors closed before turning around and walking back.

He saw Harper sitting on the sofa in the lounge area. She probably noticed his arrival and looked up at him. They locked eyes and stared at each other.
