His handsome face bore a hint of indifference, his eyes revealing no emotion.

Narrowing his eyes, Benjamin asked, "Dorcas, do you all think I love Lauren?"

Apart from Dorcas, who else was included in the "you all" he mentioned? Probably only Benjamin himself knew for sure.

Dorcas hesitated for a moment, then replied, "Isn't that the case?"

"Working."

"Why would I be upset?"

Harper abruptly ended the call and focused on her work.

She spent the afternoon working on sketches with Sophia and others in the office, only finishing when it was time to leave.

The competition was just two days away.

It had been a while since she last participated in such a major event, so Harper felt a hint of nervousness.

After sorting out the sketches, she packed her bag and left the office.

Taking the elevator down, Harper walked out of the building towards the parking lot, where she noticed a black Mercedes parked by the roadside.

Harper hesitated for a moment before approaching the car.

As she reached the car, Benjamin opened the passenger door for her, but she hesitated, asking, "Why are you here?"

"To pick you up after work."

"You don't have to go through this trouble to pick me up. You've already arranged a driver for me, and it's still early. I can drive back myself."

A faint smell of tobacco lingered in the car. Benjamin squinted, staring at her, and said, "I insist."
