Harper, drained of energy, went straight upstairs to rest.

The villa became eerily quiet, a stark contrast to the bustling outside world.

Benjamin waited to see what Frank would do next while news came from the hospital that Lauren had overdosed on medication, causing significant harm to her body.

She needed to be hospitalized for observation.

Curtis had explicitly arranged for a female assistant, Hilda Manson, to stay at the hospital to watch over her and relayed the online developments as instructed.

Curtis intended for Hilda to mislead Lauren, so she told her, "Ms. Davis, there are rumors online claiming to be from your staff that are quite damaging to you. You've lost many fans, and many online believe you are the homewrecker in Mr. Martin's marriage and family."

Lauren turned pale. "What do you mean?"

Hilda showed her screenshots and other content arranged by Curtis, all designed for Lauren to see.

After reading everything, Lauren became visibly agitated. "I don't have any assistant! These are all lies, all deceits! I have nothing to do with Benjamin."

She had intended to have a relationship with Benjamin, but ultimately, nothing happened as she was hospitalized.

Hilda continued, "But the online community doesn't see it that way. They believe even your assistant has confirmed it, so it must be true. This has also negatively impacted Mr. Martin, but I think your career will suffer more. It seems like this assistant who leaked the information did it to harm you, right?"
