Chapter 55 Was He Crazy?

He knew his wound would dehiscence, but he did it anyway.

Was he crazy?

She had been feeling anxious since she found out about his car accident in the early hours of yesterday morning. She had hoped to be left alone to take her time and calm down, but unfortunately, he had been constantly pressing her to have a complete breakdown.

Benjamin also noticed her change and wanted to say something, but Harper had already turned around and walked towards the door.

"I'll go get the nurse." She just said this, then opened the ward door and went out.

He said again, "I'm thirsty, can you pour me a glass of water?"

Benjamin's expression was kind, smiling, but said lightly, "Okay, I heard wrong. I'm not full yet. I'll ask Curtis to bring some food over. Will you accompany me to eat some together?"

She said nothing.

"No, I just haven't washed up yet." Benjamin said indifferently.

Lauren said again, "Let me stay and take care of you today. Harper is also tired and probably has no energy left."

"You're so considerate. You keep talking about the chef at home, is that your home?" Harper smiled lightly.

Lauren froze. She lowered her head and whispered, "Are you unhappy? I'm sorry, I should have packed breakfast for you too, but I didn't know if you liked it, so I..."

"You're overthinking." Harper glanced at her indifferently, then went to get some toiletries for Benjamin.

After Benjamin washed up, Curtis came and brought breakfast.

Benjamin said softly, "You go and eat."

This was said to Harper.
