Harper also paused. Dorcas wanted to give him shares?

She looked at him more intently, unwilling to miss any of his expressions.

Would Benjamin be swayed?

"Don't misunderstand. I'm not trying to do anything. This is my sincerity. You know, the Madison Group will be under my management in the future, but I know the situation in this industry. Harper naturally didn't catch every detail of Benjamin's conversation with Dorcas, but she heard every word he said loud and clear.

After the call ended, Benjamin put away his phone.

His eyes instinctively met hers, unexpectedly finding Harper staring back. Instead of avoiding her gaze, Harper raised her eyes and asked softly, "Is Dorcas offering you shares in the Madison Group?"

Benjamin furrowed his brow, his tone subdued, "Yes, that's her intention."

"Would you agree? The Madison Group will surely be hers to inherit in the future. If you accept the shares she offers, does that mean you'll be forever tied to her? If it's just a business relationship, it doesn't seem stable. So, is Dorcas hoping you'll divorce me and marry her?"

Her voice lacked much emotion, as if she was asking him this question out of pure curiosity.

Benjamin suddenly smiled, calmly glancing at her, echoing her words as he said softly, "You're quite perceptive. That's probably what she means."

Harper paused but maintained her calm demeanor as she asked, "And what do you think?"

She asked cautiously.
