Of the Light Breeze stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is I Refuse to Divorce!. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 79. Let's read the author's I Refuse to Divorce! Light Breeze story right here.
After Mia left, Zoe stood by the window, silently observing. She saw Mia going downstairs, sitting on the roadside, sobbing uncontrollably.
Zoe had never seen Mia like this before. Even on the day the Sanders family went bankrupt, Mia maintained her composure without losing control.
Ava was behind her, unable to resist asking softly, "Mrs. Zoe, do you regret it?"
Zoe lowered her gaze. After a moment, she smiled faintly. "I don't regret it. I've never regretted it."
She had no choice. There was no room for regret.
Zoe spent half a day at the apartment. When she left in the afternoon, she only took a small suitcase.
…
In the evening, as darkness fell, the sky was painted with colorful clouds, and the twilight was exceptionally splendid. A luxurious black RV passed through the ornate black gate, circling a few times before stopping in the villa's parking lot.
Mason stood in the dusk, opening the car door for Zoe. He called her Mrs. Lockwood.
With a handsome face, he revealed a charming smile, "Daisy prepared some crabs for dinner. It looks delicious, and it pairs well with a bottle of red wine."
He was very courteous, and Zoe knew it was the novelty of men. Even though they had been a couple for three years and spent countless nights where he had thoroughly explored her body, Mason's heart was now filled with a conqueror's desires.
He had compelled her to return with his power. Any man in his position would feel triumphant, and Zoe believed that a fancy dinner was not what was truly on his mind.
She looked down and said calmly, "Mason, there's no need for all this."
"No need for what?" Mason suddenly pressed her against the car.
The driver discreetly left, leaving only the two of them in the vast courtyard. With their bodies close, she could feel his impressive contours through the thin fabric of his clothes. The soft twilight glow illuminated Zoe's face, making her exceptionally beautiful.
Mason gently held the back of her head. He approached her face, his voice barely audible. "Mrs. Lockwood, what kind of couple do you plan to be with me now that you're back? A loving wife in public, cold and indifferent in private?"
Zoe turned her face away helplessly. "Mason, you wanted me to come back, and I'm back. What more do you want?"
Mason stared at her with his dark eyes. After a while, he let her go and sneered, "What do you think, Mrs. Lockwood?"
Zoe looked at him for a moment, walked to the vanity, and sat down. She carefully applied her skincare products.
Mason patiently waited behind her.
When she was done, Mason put down the magazine. He walked behind her, embracing her body gently and giving her a light massage. His movements were gentle but not open to refusal.
Zoe could not help but be moved by his touch. She tilted her head slightly, her delicate throat tense, appearing fragile.
Mason lightly nibbled the soft flesh behind her ear, his voice carrying a hint of wickedness. "Where do you want to do it?"
Zoe reached back, embracing his neck. She trembled slightly before uttering, "Let's go to bed."
Mason chuckled lightly, picked her up, and kissed her as he carried Zoe onto the bed.
Mason supported himself with one hand and embraced her, kissing her until her whole body ignited. He unfastened her bathrobe's belt with one hand, eagerly joining her...
