It seemed that Mason had come directly from the office.

Dressed in a sharp three-piece suit, he looked incredibly handsome. He was youthful and charming yet exuding the typical allure of a successful man. Many young girls could not help stealing glances at him. It was something he was accustomed to.

Mason walked directly to Zoe and looked at the gigantic movie poster.

"Do you want to watch this?" he asked.

Zoe discreetly clenched the movie ticket, smiling lightly as she denied, "I just thought of grabbing a soda."

Mason's deep eyes focused on her for a moment. He then personally bought her a drink, saying casually when paying, "You used to dislike this, didn't you?"

Zoe smiled faintly. "People change."

Mason handed her the soda, smiling. "How about watching a movie together?"

It was the first time Mason had invited her on a date.

In the past, Zoe would probably have been overwhelmed with gratitude and felt so thrilled that she would not be able to sleep for three nights. Now, she was too indifferent to bother.

Still, she knew that she had to handle her husband tactfully. A direct refusal was not a wise choice.

Zoe made a sound of acknowledgment. She handed him the bag in her hand, saying she would go buy tickets.

However, Mason failed to secure the bag properly, and the shopping bag containing lace lingerie fell to the ground. Several pieces of black lace scattered on the floor.

Before the onlookers could react, Mason swiftly collected the items. His handsome features were filled with depth when he looked at her again. "Did you just buy these?"

Zoe, holding the soda, linked her arm with his.

She softly murmured, "I just bought them with Ella. Do you like them, Mason?"

Mason's gaze grew even deeper.

He paused for a moment. Holding her delicate neck, he gazed at her with deep black eyes.

In fact, both of them knew each other's intentions. He came to check whether his "Mrs. Lockwood" had any extramarital affairs, while she, the "Mrs. Lockwood" in question, was not mentally present in this marriage.

However, they never confronted each other about it. It was a tacit agreement.

Zoe picked up a strand of long, dyed chestnut hair from the seat beside her.

Her voice was light. "This doesn't seem like Ava's hair. Moreover, Ava wouldn't sit in the back seat, and the driver cleans the interior every day. So, I guess Lilith sat in your car this morning... Mason, I won't pry into your private affairs, but I expect some basic respect between husband and wife. Can you give me that?"

She almost said that he was having an affair with Lilith.

Mason glanced at her, coldly snorting, "Is this all you want to say?"

Zoe remained gentle. "Mason, if my interference were of any use, we wouldn't be in the situation we're in today. If you really want me to feel jealous, I'll ask you to cut off contact with her. Can you do that?"
