Grayson's POV

Shivers run down my spine as Sophia says that word. Her aura is different, it's more powerful. She looks so stunning.

She might just be in a navy shirt, but her skin looks more tanned and her lips more plump. Her green eyes have golden specks in them. She looks healthy and happy.

She shuts her eyes and smells the air. Her eyes open and they have a gold ring around it. She softly places her soft palm on my cheek and sparks fly. Her touch has never effected me so much. As if shocked by the sparks she quickly draws back her hand and her eyes turn back to green. She loses focus and stumbles back a bit. William is quick and presses his hand on her back to support her. His other hand moves to her arm and he looks stunned, the sparks are affecting him to. His eyes grow darker and hers form a gold ring again.

"She smells different and her touch is different too." My brother stats through our link.

"Maybe its because we marked her?" I say, but it comes out as a question.

She shakes her head and moves out of William's hold.

"Sorry" is all she says before turning around and moving back to the couch in the living room. We follow her and sit on another couch.

"Hey guys , how did it go?" Sam asked and all the attention was on us.

"Well we think another rogue pack attacked them and slaughtered them. We don't know who thou." William said.

"But why not kill Sophia then?" Jennifer asked and both of us growl.

"We don't know, we think that their wasn't enough time, maybe when we got there , they became scared." I said while clenching my jaw.

"But Sophia you'll have to stay with us or have gardens for a while. Just to make sure you are completely safe." William said. My stomach got butterflies, when I realized this meant we got more time with her. I looked at her to see if she was also as happy as I was but she just kept her head down and just nodded . Why is she sad? Is she mad at us?

"Sophia, can we speak to you alone please?" I asked and she just nodded well keeping her head down.

"Come on Noah, let's go make something to eat for later." Layla said to Bilbo and took his hand and lead him to the kitchen. Jennifer and Sam followed shortly.

Sofia's POV

Why did they want to speak to me alone? Can they not just leave me alone?

"Listen I know you went through a lot so if you wanna speak about anything with us, you can." William says in a soothing tone.

"I'm okay." I say truthfully. I didn't need to speak about what happened right now.

"Why are you mad at us? Is it because we took a while to save you?" Grayson asks in a concerned tone. I scoff at his questions, I wasn't mad because of that. I just got upset when I said mine. Their not mine even though we went through so much, they still rejected me. I am still the useless human. They are probably going to choose Sarah to be the Luna. They want her not me.
