Sophia's POV

The ball hasn't had anymore bumps after Alpha Nile, but their is still few ours before it ends. I have decided to just keep my mouth shut and listen to the twins talk to the other alpha's, therefore their is no way for me to mess it up. Currently the twins and I are with four other alpha's. I don't take part in the conversation, but instead just focus on the drink in my hand. As I daydream someone taps my shoulder I look up to find Layla.

"Hey, how is your night so far?" I ask her

"Its going great, but I think something's wrong with noah. The women who was looking after him, has asked me to come and check on him for some reason, but um... see the thing is... um."

"What is it Layla?" I ask as she plays with her hands nervously.

"I found my mate, sof" she says with a massive smile. I immediately hug her.

"That's great Layla. I understand what you need. I'll go check on Bilbo, you can go spend more time with your mate, but when I get back I want ever last detail ."

"Thank you." She says and gives me one last hug before she leaves.

I move out of the ballroom and up the stairs towards Bilbo's room. I greet the women who was babysitting noah and walk into his room. He is sitting on the floor, playing with a car figurine.

"Hey bilbo. What you up to." He looks up and gives me a small smile.

"I'm just playing." He says in a sad tone.

"Is everything okay?" I ask him as I sit down next to him. He doesn't answer and instead just continues to play with his toy. I place my hand over his and he looks up at me.

"What's wrong Noah?" I ask in a soft voice. He sights and moves his hand away from me.

"Why do you care?" He ask in a hostile voice.
