The servant instantly pinched Melissa's philtrum.

"Melissa Lerche is in the hospital now," Luke said softly as he caressed her back.

He had tasked Gale to follow up with that incident, which was why he knew what happened to Melissa.

"Why is she in the hospital?" Bianca frowned, wondering if Melissa was up to no good.

"She passed out when the police went to arrest her," Luke explained. Sensing her impatience, Luke added," The police are keeping a close eye on her. She won't get away."

If she dared to escape, she would be the subject of ridicule of the entire A City.

After discovering that Melissa was the culprit, Luke had tasked Jason to dig up some dirt from the Lerches.

"Mm." Bianca might be kind, but she would not forgive anyone who crossed her family.

She stood on tiptoe and kissed Luke's forehead. "It's late. Let's sleep."

It would be Saturday tomorrow. Now that Bianca was cleared of suspicion and the family had nothing else going on the next day, they decided to take the children out for a day trip.

"Alright." Luke let go of Bianca, bent over, and picked her up.

"What are you doing?" Bianca was surprised. She hugged his neck and could not help but feel blissful.

"You've been through a lot today." Luke sounded intimate as he brought her into the bedroom.

The night wind was like fine wine, intoxicating those who were mutually in love.

The next morning, Luke drove the family of five to a nearby lake. They were going to camp there.

Tommy was the most excited. Throughout the journey, he hugged Bianca's arm and did not stop talking. "Lanie says that we're going camping. Mommy, what's camping?"

Bianca hugged him and said, "It means that we're going to have fun as a family."

"Is it like that, Lanie?" Tommy turned around to ask Lanie, who was sitting on the side passenger seat.

"Mm." Lanie was studying a fishing hook. His father had given him that and said that he would teach him t o fish.

Lanie did not show it, but he was quite interested in the camping trip.
