I walk back and forth nervously chewing on my lip.
"Lilith what is it?" My fiancé asks.
"I sent wedding invitations to all my friends and that involves..."
"Zach," Marquis finishes and I nod.
"And I know it's been a year since everything happened but what if..."
"Hey, hey, there's no need to worry," he says hugging me as he sees the tears enter my eyes. "We have three months until the actual wedding, and like you said it's been a year, I'm pretty sure all is forgiven." He says soothingly.
"I know, but you weren't there Marquis. When he told me that it would be better if I didn't contact him after I left. He said he need times healing. It's been a year and I have yet to hear from him," I sniffle.
"Some people heal slower than others," he replies and I nod.
"You're right," I sigh. "Maybe I shouldn't think to much into it."
"Exactly, we haven't even started planning yet and you're already stressed," he jokes and I playfully punch his shoulder.
"You should really see me when I stressed. It's not pretty," I joke.
"Which is where I come in," Marquis says smiling mischievously.
