Chapter 1188 - The Cosmic Battlefield! I

The time for a new Writ of Challenge to take place was fast approaching, and it dealt with a newly joining Cosmos as the possible contenders from the Primordial Empire were renowned Daolords who oversaw single Cosmos for the past 100 years.

They didn’t oversee these single Cosmos because they didn’t have the ability to amass more, but they followed the wills of their Houses as carrying out their influence this way meant they were guaranteed to win over newly joining Cosmos and bring them under the control of their houses!

Having Writs of Challenges where the Heads of the Houses challenged each other for all of the expansive clusters of Cosmos had never occurred in history, but there had been instances of powerful Daolords from the factions coming to blows and staking dozens of Cosmos under them to carry out terrifying battles.

So even though the soon to be occurring Challenge was interesting, it generated small waves as the attention given to it was simply a few Daolords from the three Houses expectant to see which House would be chosen by the Indigo Cosmos as this would be the one to obtain a new Cosmos under them!

The chance of the forces of the newly joining Cosmos winning was entertained in the minds of these powerful Daolords and Antiquities, but it was something unlikely to happen as it was only looked at as a mere small percentage.

"They have to choose soon, right?"

The female Daolord besides Azazel spoke out with sharp eyes as she gazed at the three galaxy sized scrolls that represented Writs of Challenges. Those accepting the challenge had to rip apart one of these scrolls to show their stance, where after that...a portal would be formed that would teleport the Antiquities and Daolord within each of the battling Cosmos onto a grand battlefield!

A battlefield that was so vast and fantastical that it was the size of a Cosmos, this being the area where most of the Writs of Challenges took place with little exceptions.

Those teleported would only ever be Antiquities and Daolords as the measure of the Cosmos’s strength, everything lower in rank being seen as a non contributing factor!

Daolord Azazel and many others knew this as they waited patiently within their Cosmos, ready for battle at any point.

"Any second now...though I do have an inkling that I won’t be able to face this Daolord Osmont just yet!"

The voice of Azazel stretched out to the surroundings as his verdant green hair waved in the wind, his childish expression being overshadowed by the immense experience hidden within his eyes!
